Toptracer Range at The Legends brings a modern, tech-driven practice and entertainment experience to Orange Lake Golf in Kissimmee, Florida. Using the same ball-tracking technology seen on televised golf broadcasts, every shot you hit is traced on screen with carry distance, ball speed, and more—turning a traditional range session into interactive fun for golfers and non-golfers alike.
What Is Toptracer Range?
Toptracer Range is a camera-based tracking system installed on the driving range at The Legends. Sensors track the flight of each golf ball and display a shot trace and real-time stats on an in-bay monitor or your mobile device.
With Toptracer Range you can:
- Watch a tracer line of every shot you hit
- See instant data (carry, total distance, ball speed, height, etc.)
- Play virtual versions of famous courses
- Compete in long-drive, closest-to-the-pin, and target games
- Save sessions and progress through the Toptracer Range app
The same technology trusted by tour broadcasts is now available at The Legends for everyday practice, casual fun, and social events.
The Toptracer Experience
Toptracer Range is built for all ages and skill levels. Kids, beginners, and occasional players can:
- Choose game modes that focus on targets and points, not scorecards
- Share a bay and enjoy a relaxed environment with seating and food service
- Watch ball flight and animations on screen, even if it’s their first time swinging a club
For regular golfers, Toptracer Range turns practice into measurable improvement:
- Dial in yardages for each club
- Track dispersion patterns and tendencies
- Compare sessions over time using saved data in the app
- Warm up before a round at The Legends or other Orange Lake courses
The bay setup makes Toptracer Range ideal for:
- Birthday parties and small celebrations
- Team-building events and corporate outings
- Pre- or post-round contests for golf groups
Each bay supports up to 4 total guests (players and spectators), and larger groups can reserve multiple bays side-by-side. Food and drinks from the Palmer Lounge can be ordered directly to your bay.

To get the most from your session:
- Download the free Toptracer Range app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create a profile and sign in when you arrive at your bay.
- Link your profile to the bay so your shots and games are saved automatically.
The app lets you:
- Store swing and session data for future reference
- Track progress and compare stats over time
- Access skill-based challenges and leaderboards
- Play virtual rounds on courses such as Pebble Beach and St Andrews (availability depends on mode selection)
Bay Rental Rates
⚠️ Bay pricing is per bay, per hour, not per person. Up to 4 guests can share a bay.

- 10:00 a.m. – 3:59 p.m. – Starting at $30.00 per bay, per hour
- 4:00 p.m. – 6:59 p.m. – Starting at $40.00 per bay, per hour
- 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – Starting at $50.00 per bay, per hour
- Last bay rental begins at 9:00 p.m.

Food & Drinks – Palmer Lounge
Food and beverages for the Toptracer Range are provided by the Palmer Lounge at The Legends:
- Order snacks, appetizers, and entrees from the Palmer Lounge menu
- Enjoy soft drinks, beer, and cocktails while you play
- All food and beverages must be purchased on site; outside food and drinks are not allowed
Rule & Procedures
To keep the experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, all guests must follow these rules:
- Maximum of 4 guests per bay (players and spectators combined). Larger groups must reserve additional bays.
- Only one person on the hitting mat at a time. All other guests must remain in the seating/lounge area. Always check surroundings before swinging.
- Minimum reservation times:
- 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: 30-minute minimum per bay
- 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: 1-hour minimum per bay
- For the best experience, a 90-minute reservation is recommended.
- Bay rates are time-based, not game-based. Your reservation begins and ends at the scheduled times, regardless of game progress.
- At the end of your reservation, you will be asked to relocate so staff can prepare the bay for the next group.
- Poor behavior will not be tolerated. Lack of respect for other guests, abuse of equipment, or damage to the facility may result in immediate removal.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to property, facility, and/or equipment.
- Staff reserve the right to refuse service and/or ask guests to leave the facility.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed. All F&B must be purchased through the Palmer Lounge.
- Reservations are strongly encouraged and may be made online or by calling the golf shop.
- Walk-ins are accepted on a space-available, first-come, first-served basis, but reservations take priority.
- A credit card is required to secure all reservations. The card is held on file and not charged at booking; payment is processed at check-in.
- Guests should arrive 15 minutes before their reservation time for check-in and initial Toptracer setup.
- Your bay is guaranteed only for the original reserved time. Extensions may be possible depending on occupancy.
- If you arrive late, the reservation still ends at the original time. Example: a 6:00–7:00 p.m. reservation that starts at 6:10 p.m. still ends at 7:00 p.m.
- Bay bookings in the booking engine may appear 20 minutes longer than play time (10 minutes setup, 10 minutes cleanup). This is not a play extension.
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the reservation receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made inside 24 hours receive a 50% refund.
- No-shows are charged in full.
- A guest is considered a no-show if they do not arrive or are 15 minutes late or more for their reservation.
- After 15 minutes, the facility reserves the right to release the bay and charge the no-show fee (full reservation amount).
