FAQ’s – Orange Lake Golf

Orange Lake Golf strives to provide each and every guest with superior service. To assist you in your golfing experience at Orange Lake, we’ve compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you before and during your time at the resort.

Is Orange Lake Golf open to the public or resort guests only?

All our courses on property are open to the Public. When entering the property as a golfing guest, please let the gate attendants know which course you are visiting and your tee time.

Where are the golf courses located on the property?

The Legends Course is located the East Village.
The Reserve and Cranes Bend are located in the West Village, and the Golf Shop is inside the Marketplace next to registration.
The Legends Walk is located in the North Village next to the Founders Club.

Is there a charge for an additional rider that is not playing golf?

We do charge for additional riders that are not playing. Rider fees apply for non-golfers and are based on cart availability. Please let the staff know upon check in if you have a rider(s). Rider(s) will be limited to ONE (1) extra cart per foursome or twosome and will be subject to a 9 hole or 18 hole cart fee.

How much do you charge for range balls?

Orange Lake has two ranges. The driving range at The Legends has small baskets with ~35 balls for $7 and a large baskets with ~70 balls for $13. The Reserve/Crane’s Bend Golf Shop in the Marketplace sells tokens for the range machine located on the driving range, each token is $8 (~45 Balls). Toptracer range is by the bay/time. Can I reserve a rental set?

Our rental clubs are based on a first come first serve basis and cannot be reserved in advance, however we do have a large amount of rental clubs and can accommodate mostly all players.

What is the cost of the rental sets?

Cost of rental clubs will vary depending on the course:
The Legends – $75 per round, per set
The Reserve – $30 per round, per set
Cranes Bend – $15 per round, per set
The Legends Walk $15 per round, per set

Do you allow 5-somes?

We unfortunately do not allow 5-somes. For the enjoyment of all players, we ask that playing groups be limited to no more than 4 golfers.

can i pay cash for my round?

Orange Lake is a cashless resort, we accept all major Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay as valid forms of payment for your round. *Please note that there is a 2.75% charge applied to all credit card transactions, debit card cards incur no charges.

Can I Ship My clubs to the resort?

You may ship your clubs to Orange Lake if you wish, please address the label as such:

You will pick up your clubs at the registration desk with a valid ID. You are responsible for creating the shipping label as well as the return label.

What is the dress code for the courses?

There is a collard shirt policy and proper golf attire suggested at the Legends and a more casual dress code at the Reserve, Cranes Bend and Legends Walk.

What kind of grass is on your greens?

Legends and Legends Walk has Floradwarf, the Reserve had Miniverde and Crane’s Bend is Tiff Eagle.
