General Golf Questions

All golf courses at Orange Lake are open to the public as well as resort guests. When arriving at the property as a golfing guest, please let the gate attendant know which course you’re playing and your tee time so you can be directed to the correct village.

  • The Legends – Located in the East Village (main golf shop and Toptracer Range).
  • The Reserve & Crane’s Bend – Located in the West Village; the golf shop is inside the Marketplace next to resort registration.
  • Legends Walk – Located in the North Village, next to the Founders Club.

Orange Lake Golf offers 54 holes over four courses:

  • The Legends – 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Course (par 72).
  • The Reserve – 18-hole resort-style course (par 71).
  • Crane’s Bend – 9-hole executive course (par 30).
  • Legends Walk – Walking-only 9-hole par-3 course (par 27), lighted for night play.

No. For the enjoyment and pace of play of all guests, groups are limited to a maximum of four golfers.

Yes. Rider fees apply for non-golfers and are based on cart availability. Please inform the staff at check-in if you have a rider. Riders are limited to one (1) extra cart per twosome or foursome and will be charged the applicable 9-hole or 18-hole cart fee.

Orange Lake is a cashless resort. Accepted forms of payment include all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

  • A 2.75% fee applies to credit card transactions.
  • Debit cards incur no additional fee.

Practice Facilities & Toptracer Range

  • Orange Lake has two traditional driving ranges plus the Toptracer Range:
    • The Legends Range:
      • Small basket (~35 balls) – $7
      • Large basket (~70 balls) – $13
  • The Reserve/Crane’s Bend Range:
    • Tokens sold in the Marketplace golf shop
    • Each token – $8 (~45 balls)
  • Toptracer Range:
    • Billed by bay and time, not by ball count.

Toptracer Range uses broadcast-style ball-tracking technology on the driving range at The Legends. Every shot is traced on screen with distance and ball-flight data. Guests can:

  • Play virtual courses
  • Compete in skill-based games
  • View shot traces and stats in real time
  • Save sessions through the Toptracer Range app

Bays can be reserved for practice, family fun, or small group events.

Rental Clubs

  • Rental clubs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Inventory is large, and staff can usually accommodate most players, but availability is not guaranteed at specific times.

Rental pricing varies by course and is per round, per set:

  • The Legends: $75 (TaylorMade premium sets; includes ½ dozen Tour Response balls)
  • The Reserve: $30 (Cobra premium sets)
  • Crane’s Bend: $15 (Tour Edge sets for 9-hole play)
  • Legends Walk: $15 (Tour Edge sets for 9-hole play)

Course-Specific Questions

The Legends is an 18-hole, par-72 course that plays up to 7,072 yards from the back tees, with multiple tee options to fit all skill levels.

The Reserve is an 18-hole, par-71 resort-style course with generous landing areas, multiple tee boxes, and a full practice range that is lighted for night practice. The McCord Brown Golf Academy operates from this range.

Crane’s Bend is a 9-hole, par-30 executive course that loops around a fountain lake. It’s designed for shorter rounds, families, and improving your scoring clubs. It shares the Marketplace golf shop and driving range with The Reserve.

Yes. Legends Walk is walking-only, with no golf carts on the course. This is important for guests to know when booking.

Yes. Legends Walk is fully lighted with stadium-style lights, offering night golf during designated hours.

Yes. FootGolf is played on Legends Walk, which is a certified American FootGolf League (AFGL) course. Rounds include soccer-ball rental at the posted FootGolf rates.

Instruction – McCord Brown Golf Academy

  • The McCord Brown Golf Academy is located on the practice range at The Reserve in the West Village.

The academy offers:

  • 1-hour private lessons
  • 2-person private lessons
  • Junior lessons (17 & under)
  • Daily group clinics
  • Club fittings and other services

Lessons and clinics can be booked online through the academy booking portal or by calling 407-239-1050 ext. 4.

Instruction is led by:

  • John Brown, PGA – PGA Master Professional and Director of Instruction
  • Britton Mullis, PGA – Class A PGA Professional and Instructor

Both work with players of all abilities and use video and launch-monitor technology as part of their programs.

FootGolf at Legends Walk

FootGolf is a hybrid of soccer and golf played with a regulation soccer ball and oversized cups on a golf-style course. Players kick from tee markers, follow par guidelines, and count each kick as a stroke. It’s walking-only, family-friendly, and accessible for all skill levels.

All FootGolf rates include soccer ball rental and are typically available from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., subject to change:

  • Public & Resort Guests: Starting at $25 + tax per player
  • HICV Timeshare Owners: Starting at $22.50 + tax per player
  • Juniors (15 & under): $10 + tax per player

Reservations can be made through the FootGolf booking page or the Legends Walk golf shop.
