Course policies & procedures

Tee Time Policies
Check-In
- Golfers must check in with the golf shop in the Clubhouse prior to playing and are to have a dated receipt in their possession at all times while on the golf course.
- All golfers are responsible for their errant shots.
- All players must have their own bag and set of clubs. Rental Clubs are available at each course and are on a first come first serve basis.
- A credit/debit card or on-site room account is REQUIRED to use rental clubs.
- All play is to begin on the #1 tee unless instructed otherwise by golf shop personnel or starter.
- Golfers are required to check-in at least 25 mins prior to their tee time. Failure to do so may result in delay or forfeiture of tee time.
Tee Time Policy
- Tee times may be booked online at www.orangelakegolf.com up to 30 days in advance or by calling 407-239-1050 up to 90 days in advance.
- The golf course reserves the right to pair players at its discretion.
- Please arrive and check-in within 20 minutes of your scheduled tee-time.
- Personal coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted.
Cancelation Policy
- Cancelations or changes must be made at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled tee-time.
- To cancel, use the cancelation link in the email or text notifications, or simply call the golf shop.
- Reduce the number of players in your group within 8 hours of the scheduled tee-time to avoid fees for any unused spots.
- Charge amount: 50% of the total green fee and cart fee for each absent player
- The charge will occur within 72 hours of the scheduled reservation.
- Booking Fees are non-refundable
No Show Policy
A “no-show” occurs when a golfer does not arrive for their reserved tee time and fails to cancel in advance.
- Fees: A fee up to or equal to 50% of the prevailing green fee + cart fee may be charged to the credit card on file for each no-show reservation.
- Cancellations: Cancellations or changes must be made at least 8 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
- Cancelations can be made thru the text or email confirmation, as well as by calling the golf shop.
Purpose: No-shows prevent other golfers from enjoying the course and negatively impact operations. This policy ensures fairness for all players.
Short Show Policy
A “short-show” occurs when fewer players than originally reserved check in (e.g., booking a foursome but only two arrive).
- Minimum Requirement: Tee times should accurately reflect the number of players.
- Fees: Golfers may be charged a fee up to or equal to 50% the green fee + cart fee for absent players if the reservation was not updated at least 8hours in advance.
- Cancellations/Changes: Cancellations or changes must be made at least 8 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
- Cancelations or changes can be made thru the text or email confirmation, as well as by calling the golf shop.
Purpose: Accurate player counts help the course schedule efficiently and maintain pace of play for all guests.
Dynamic Pricing Policy
- Green fee rates adjust in real time based on demand.
- Rates are available on our website.
- Choose the time and price that best fit your schedule and budget.
Promotional Code Policy
- Promotional codes require you to be signed in to your booking engine account.
- Codes cannot be applied in the shop or over the phone.
Course Policies
Outside Cooler Policy
- Outside coolers and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
- Food and beverages are available in the pro shop and restaurant, including at the turn.
Outside Alcohol Policy
- No outside alcohol: Bringing alcoholic beverages onto club property (course, parking lot, clubhouse, practice areas) is prohibited. No BYOB, tailgating, or parking-lot consumption.
- Licensed service only: All alcohol must be purchased and consumed from the club’s licensed outlets. No corkage or personal alcohol allowed.
- Coolers & checks: Personal coolers may be inspected by staff. Alcohol found will be confiscated and disposed of.
- Age verification: Valid ID required for purchase or consumption. Supplying alcohol to minors is prohibited.
- Intoxication: We may refuse service, suspend play, or remove guests exhibiting intoxication or unsafe behavior.
- Violations: Violations may result in removal from the property, suspension of playing privileges, and/or forfeiture of fees.
Rain Check Policy
- If inclement weather is present at the time of check in and you elect to play no rain checks will be given. If inclement weather arrives during your round you will be eligible for a raincheck. Rainchecks are pro-rated amounts per hole based on the rate paid. TWILIGHT RATES (3pm and later) are not eligible for a raincheck. See raincheck cards for full terms and restrictions.
Dress Code Policy
- Proper golf attire is requried at The Legends (Collared shirt, slacks/golf shorts, etc.).
- A relaxed dress code is permitted at The Reserve, Cranes Bend & Legends Walk (Tee shirt, athletic shorts, etc).
- Denim pants or shorts are not permitted.
- Sandals, flip flops, cutoffs, metal spikes, and athletic cleats are prohibited.
Golf Cart Policy
- Golfers MUST be 16 years or older with a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart.
- Golf carts are not permitted to leave the designated grounds of the golf course and staging areas. Carts are not permitted to be used as a means of resort transportation.
- Maximum of 2 players per golf cart, groups of 3 or more players will be required to use additional carts and may incur fees.
- Rider fees apply for non-golfers and are available on a case-by-case basis based on cart availability. Golfers are required to inform staff members upon check in if rider(s) are present. Rider(s) will be limited to ONE (1) extra cart per foursome or twosome and will be subject to a 9 hole or 18 hole cart fee.
- Golf carts are not permitted in parking lots.
- By paying for a round of golf, golfers agree to the terms and conditions of the golf cart agreement in which all golfers are responsible for any and all damages that may occur to the cart during the round.
- Lost items or items left in a cart or left behind anywhere are NOT guaranteed to be recovered. Lost and Found items are kept for a maximum of 7 days.
Group Size Policy
- For the enjoyment of all players, groups are restricted to a maximum of 4 players per tee time.
- There are no exceptions. players with more than 4 players will be asked to reserve additional tee times.
- Legends Walk does not permit walking spectators after 6PM. No exceptions.
Pace of Play
- All groups are expected to maintain a pace of play of 4 hours & 30 minutes, or less, for both The Legends & The Reserve, and 2 hours, or less, for Cranes Bend & Legends Walk. Groups not maintaining this pace and losing position with the group immediately in front of them will be issued two (2) warnings to correct their pace. Failure to do so will result in having to pick up, and move to the appropriate position on the golf course. This may require skipping holes. It is the responsibility of each individual and each group to maintain this pace of play, there are no refunds or rain checks issued for any holes or portions of holes missed when the group is required by course personnel to resume their position.
Range Ball Policy
- Possession and/or use of range balls on the golf course is prohibited. The staff reserves the right to remove range balls from the violators possession and refuse access to the course if necessary.
Other Policies
Transactional SMS/Text Policy
- Purpose: Non-marketing texts related to your reservations (confirmations, updates, weather/course alerts, important reminders).
- Frequency: Varies based on activity.
- Cost: Standard message/data rates may apply.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP to opt out. Opting out may limit our ability to send reservation updates.
